The Bayou City Art Festival at the end of March was wonderful! We had a wet set up, and a hot Friday, but lovely weather for the rest of the show. If you do not like crowds, be sure to make the time to attend on Friday next year, as the pace was more leisurely.
One of the most exciting things that happened is that I met the new innkeeper of the gorgeous Peaceful Pelican Bed and Breakfast in Palacious, Texas. Paula purchased several of my “Texas Coast Series” birds and they will soon be on display at the B & B. Here is a link, in case you plan to visit the Palacious area any time soon (I hear they have wonderful fishing). www.thepeacefulpelican.com
We really had a great time at the show – I was able to tell a lot of people all about reduction linocuts and heard many wonderful kitty stories, and made many new friends with artists and patron alike!
