I’ve joined artists and craftspeople across the country for the first annual Artists Sunday, a nationwide event, the Sunday after Thanksgiving, November 29th, encouraging consumers to shop with artists and craftsmen. Think Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, or Cyber Monday but for shopping for art!
Give something special, unique, and hand-crafted this holiday season! Plus, by shopping with artists you’re also supporting the local economy. Join me on November 29, 2020 for Artists Sunday, shop art and support the artists you love.
What I’m Doing On Artists Sunday
I’m thrilled to be participating in Artists Sunday this year. Here’s what to expect this holiday season!
New Work
To prepare for the big day, I am working hard to fill my store with lots of new work for you to browse and purchase. Here’s what I’m looking forward to sharing with you this holiday season…
I have just added Christmas cards and blank greeting cards to my online store! They all feature images of my original artwork.
On November 2, I will officially unveil my new mixed media series “Cat and Mouse”! The pieces are: Cat and Mouse in Wheat, Cat and Mouse in Corn and Cat and Mouse in Sunflowers!
I also have a new series that I call my “Parallel Series”: It consists of three limited editions of reduction linocuts of butterflies, and then 3 mixed media works created by hand-coloring mounting the printing plates to wood with cut nails. Mourning Cloak, Blue Pansy, and (my favorite) Striped Blue Crow. These are all available now in my online store.

Exclusive Give-Away
I want to help you have fun this holiday season, so I am having a Give-Away a gallery wrapped 12″ x 16″ giclée of one of my most popular mixed media pieces, “A Study in Blue”! (Valued at $175.) The original 18″ x 24″ carving is in a private collection in Austin, TX.
Any purchase of my art from November 1 – November 29 (by 4:00 PM CDT) will gain you an entry in the Drawing! The Drawing will be held on Artists Sunday, November 29, at 5:00 PM CDT, and I will post the results on Facebook and Instagram.

November 14 – Covington Three Rivers Virtual Art Festival – on Facebook Live! https:/www.facebook.com/Threeriversart – I am in the first group of artists at 10:00 AM CDT!
November 29 – ARTISTS SUNDAY – 4:00 PM CDT Deadline to Purchase art and be entered into Drawing. 5:00 PM CDT Winner of Give-Away will be announced on Facebook and Instagram!
