I am proud to announce that I am now selling seven new art cards!

Images of my original artwork have been reproduced as 5”x7” cards. The cards are blank inside, with a description of the art on the back. The artwork pictured is mainly of my reduction linocut editions that have sold out (Blue Eyes and Bluebonnets, Callie and Evey, Contented Cat, Cozy Cat, Relaxed Cat and Serene Cat.) The only exception is Cats Dream in Color, which I had reproduced due to its popularity! Each card comes with a matching envelope.
The cards will make their debut at the ARTS ALIVE! art festival on Labor Day weekend (Saturday and Sunday) in Corpus Christi TX. Price is $6.50 plus tax plus shipping per single card plus envelope.
Explanation of the information on the back of the cards (using Callie and Evey as an example):
“Callie and Evey, 2004” – the title of the original artwork, and the date that it was created
“© Anne Gaines” – I reserve all rights to the artwork; it may not be copied or reproduced without my express written permission.
“Reduction linocut” is the medium – a type of printmaking where I apply colored inks to paper in several layers by means of a carved flat piece of linoleum.
“5-½ x 10 in.” – the size of the original artwork
“Edition of 14” – there are 14 originals (numbered and signed by me); this is known as a true “limited edition”
Each card also has a quotation about the artwork.
This information appears on the back of each of the seven art cards, and is specific to the design on the front of the card.
